Blond Swedes

Are Swedes really mostly blond? A more or less reliable test in the center of Stockholm should serve as evidence of the theory: By sitting in the outdoor area of a café and counting every single person passing by on a thursday in early august between 13.00 and 14.00.

Here is the outcome: 202 of the 273 registered persons were blond! This would signify that 74% of the Swedes are blond. To be honest, I must admit though that some of them could have been tourists from North Germany, South Norway or West Lithuania…
